I founded Northeast Property for one simple reason: I was tired of watching homeowners and landlords receive poor service from big High Street chains. After years of working in the industry, I saw the same problems again and again — rushed valuations, forgotten clients, unanswered calls, poor communication, and properties managed with little real care.

One moment in particular stuck with me: a landlord came to me frustrated after their agent hadn’t visited the property in over a year. Tenants were unhappy, issues were missed, and the owner felt completely in the dark. That was the day I realised the industry didn’t just need another estate agent — it needed a better one.

So in 2016, I decided to build something different.

Northeast Property was created to raise the standard to treat every home as if it were my own, communicate clearly, and deliver a level of service that High Street chains simply don’t offer.

Meet the Founder Cameron James

Born in New Zealand and raised in the North East, I founded Northeast Property in 2016 with one mission: to raise the standard of estate agency and deliver a service built on honesty, communication, and genuine care.

After years in the industry, I saw how often clients were let down by rushed service and poor management. Northeast Property was my answer, a more personal, modern, and detail-driven approach where every home is treated as if it were my own.

Today, I work closely with homeowners, buyers, landlords, and investors across the North East, combining deep local knowledge with premium marketing and clear, straightforward advice.

A Heartfelt Client Story Why Service Matters

One of the clients who has stayed closest to my heart is Sarah, a landlord who came to me overwhelmed, exhausted, and ready to give up on property altogether.
